Poker Classic for Hospice tomorrow night

There has been a great take-up for the Poker Classic being run in Markeys of The Mill tomorrow, Friday 3 November, in aid of St Brigid's Hospice & Homecare Services. But there is still room for a few more entries, we're told.

It begins at 8.30pm, and tickets are €20 per entry. A representative from the Hospice, which is due to open very shortly after a major rebuild, will be in attendance for the presentation of a cheque from the event.

There will be refreshments and a raffle on the night, and there's a big hamper and other prizes.
